The brainchild of guitar monster Parker Griggs, Radio Moscow fetishize '60s acts such as Cream, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Groundhogs, and Blue Cheer, but re-jigger their hard psychedelic blues with a decidedly modern energy and abandon. After impressing Black Key Dan Auerbach with a demo, the duo--amazingly just a duo considering the sonic wallop they pack--were signed to Alive/Natural Sound Records and recorded this self-titled debut at Auerbach's studio.
