Disco-punk duo Cobra Man, who write music for skating videos, follow their 2017 debut with an over-the-top, low-budget tribute to '70s/'80s excess. The album's ten songs shuffle various styles and moods through a 21st century filter -- "Everybody Party Tonight" basically sounds like "Party Rock Anthem" if it were written and recorded in 1985, while "Living in Hell" could easily be John Maus channeling Meat Loaf. Elsewhere, there's the coke-fueled hustle of the title track (with a chorus of "You can't fuck with us") and the Halloween schlock-metal of "Bad Feeling." There's fun to be had, but be aware that this album is loaded with kitsch. If that's not a problem, party on. ~ Paul Simpson
