〈ティンバランドと再合体?〉と期待してしまう人もいそうなタイトルですが、G君が5作目にして立ち返った〈基本〉とは正統派R&Bシンガーとしての立ち位置ってことか。ジョンタ・オースティン作／ジャジー・フェイ制作の“Secrets”のように時流を意識した曲もいいけど、光るのはオーセンティックなミディアム～スロウでの熱いヴォーカル。こりゃ、R&Bファンならまっすぐハートに刺さるでしょ。ティンバの相方＝デンジャも登場。
