シンガーソングライターとしてだけではなく作家、画家、そして俳優とマルチな才能を発揮し続け、世界で熱狂的な人気を生み出しているニック・ケイヴ。そんな彼が率いるニック・ケイヴ&ザ・バッド・シーズが、ライヴEP『ディスタント・スカイ(ライヴ・イン・コペンハーゲン)』を超限定アナログ盤でリリース。
2016年に発売された彼らの新アルバム『スケルトン・ツリー』は全英チャート初登場2位を獲得したほか、PitchforkのBest New Musicに選ばれ9点を獲得、また、コールドプレイがTwitter上で絶賛するなど、各方面から高評価を得ていた。あれから3年の時を経てリリースされる本ライヴEPには、『スケルトン・ツリー』はじめ、彼らの過去作から選び抜かれた4曲のライヴ音源を収録。
