This EP is the closest thing to a live album that Samiam has done. Four live songs that span a decade of the band's life dot this recording, including fan favorites "Bad Day" from Clumsy and "Don't Break Me" from Billy. But the album's gem is the cover song, the blazing cover of Iggy and the Stooges' "Search and Destroy." Samiam somehow manages to smooth out the rough edges of the original while keeping up the song's intensity -- no small feat. Also appearing is "Factory" off You Are Freaking Me Out; a vintage Samiam song detailing the tribulations of the working class. ~ Ron DePasquale
