DJ Krush's full-length works have always featured a predominance of midtempo hip-hop, and his contribution to Cold Krush Cuts, the double-disc Ninja Tunes mix compilation (one disc of Krush, one of Coldcut) is no different. Utilizing Ninja Tune artists (DJ Vadim makes eight appearances), the material is of a piece. Aside from the chosen records, Krush's mixing skills are OK but overshadowed by Coldcut & DJ Food on the other disc. ~ John Bush

このCold Krush Cutsはﾆﾝｼﾞｬﾁｭｰﾝ所属ｱｰﾃｨｽﾄの音源でｺｰﾙﾄﾞｶｯﾄ＆DJﾌｰﾄﾞとDJｸﾗｯｼｭが双方DJﾐｯｸｽｱﾙﾊﾞﾑを創って対決？するというｺﾝｾﾌﾟﾄで創られた物。国内盤は2枚に分けられてﾘﾘｰｽされたけどこれは2枚組になってて安いし買いだと思う。ｱﾌﾞｽﾄﾗｸﾄﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟといわれたこの人達の音楽性はﾀﾞﾋﾞｰ＆ｽﾓｰｷｰ（ﾄﾘｯﾌﾟﾐｭｰｼﾞｯｸ）でJAZZYな感じにﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟとﾄﾞﾗﾑﾝﾍﾞｰｽを足した様な物。DJﾐｯｸｽを作品として鑑賞に値する物に仕上げる手腕はさすがだと思う。
