オアシスのライバルとして目され、90年代ブリット・ポップ・ムーブメントの一角を担ったシェッド・セヴンが16年ぶりとなるアルバムでシーンに復帰! 2003年の解散後、2007年に一連のツアーのために再結成を果たしていたものの、正規のオリジナル・アルバムは2001年発表の『トゥルース・ビー・トールド』以来リリースされておらず、本作が通算5作目となるニュー・アルバム! オープニング・トラックを飾る「Room In My House」は、ファズ・ギターがきいたアップリフティングでアンセミックな1曲。メランコリックなメロディーとリックの歌声が印象的な「It's Not Easy」、80年代風のシンセロック調の「Enemies & Friends」等、最後までブランクを一切感じさせない名曲揃いのアルバムに仕上がっている。
