All tracks have been digitally remastered. Springfield's second American album--released scant months after her first--combined her most recent singles (the gorgeous "All Cried Out" and "Live It Up") with tracks left over from her first British LP, some British EP tracks, and a British B-side (the folkish "Summer is Over," by her former partner Tom Springfield). The sheer variety of the material is almost overwhelming, with Springfield applying her inimitable soulful vocals to everything from Memphis funk ("Every Ounce of Strength") to Broadway pop from composers Kander and Ebb ("My Coloring Book") to Motown (a superb version of Marvin Gaye's gospel tinged "Can I Get a Witness") to Burt Bachrach's harmonically sophisticated pop R&B ("I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself").
