Issued in 1980, RED EXPOSURE finds the industrial-punk duo Chrome in fine form, with vocalist/keyboardist Damon Edge and vocalist/guitarist Helios Creed creating a restless, moody record that often sounds like Neu! on bad acid (see the dark, frenetic "Eyes on Mars"). A prime example of the San Francisco-based ensemble's late-`70s/early-`80s heyday, this album is essential for Chrome diehards, and should be of interest to industrial aficionados.
