John Trudell is one of the founding members of The American Indian Movement and served as its chair from 1973-1979.
On his second Rykodisc effort, John Trudell writes about the separation of the classes and genders along with themes of love. He also deals with the loss of his wife in the heartbreakingly beautiful "After All These Years," as he did in "Tina Smiled" from his previous record. Not quite as strong as the masterful AKA Grafitti Man, but still an intelligent and moving album. Executive producer Jackson Browne and Jennifer Warnes lend supporting vocals. ~ Brett Hartenbach
