2014年のインダストリアル・ディスコ盤『Mess』で狂気の暗黒舞踏会を開催したライアーズ。次の一手は人里離れたオーストラリアの国立公園で録音し、孤独感を強く滲ませた内容に。寂しげなアコギの弾き語りにまず驚かされ、エレクトロやドラムンベースなど従来の趣向を打ち出した曲もよく聴くと同ユニットらしからぬオーガニックな風合い。だけど、ドローンな後半へ突入する頃には新たな魅力の虜になっているはず!
