The recording on THE TIBETAN BUDDHIST CHANT was made on the morning of the first day of a novice's rite of initiation into Esoteric Buddhism. The Buddhist scripture chanted on this disc is titled "Method Of Offering The Rosary To The World-Honored Glorious Kalacakra." Personnel: Lobsang Dhargay (vocals). Unknown Contributor Role: Monks of Namgyal Monastery. Parts of The Kalacakra Offering chants are performed by monks of the Nyamgyal Monastery, headquarters of the Dalai Lama's Gelugpa sect.
