XXら後輩からの期待に応えてダウンテンポ回帰した前作より3年半、今度はハクサン・クロークとジョン・コングルトンの手を借り、ぶっといノイズを纏ってハードにイメチェン。パキッとしたビートが肝の"Become The One"などはミニマル化を図る最近のファクトリー・フロアみたいだし、不気味なアンビエントロニカはアルカと並べて聴きたいもの。もうすぐ結成20年なのに、落ち着くどころか攻めすぎじゃない?
