Second album, following 2006's 'Mutiny', and Epitaph debut from San Franciscan punk rock sextet. Although billed as a "pop-punk" band, they are also clearly heavily influenced by old-school New York hardcore (they are named after CIV's debut album). On this release, produced by Mike Green (Paramore), their chunky, raucous, raw and heartfelt punk racket is bolstered by a supporting cast of guest vocalists, including Hayley Williams of the aforementioned Paramore and New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert.

ファーストEPで名を上げて初のアルバムでプチ・ブレイク、そして大手レーベルに移籍し……と、ここまでキレイな上昇線を描いてきたバンドの2作目である。早くもフォロワー続出中の、モッシーなハードコア×激キャッチーなメロディックは破壊力バツグン。それぞれのパートを短く区切って間髪入れずに畳み掛けるツイン・ヴォーカルの掛け合いも気持ち良すぎで、これはもう大ブレイク確実っすな!
