Disc1の14曲目で音飛びが発生しました。
タワーレコードに文句を言おうとしたら到着後1週間以内となってるので
泣き寝入りするしかないのかな？

BBCライヴ＜紙ジャケット仕様初回限定盤＞｜CDアルバム
ツェッペリンのBBCライブ音源。ＣＤ1は69年の3月、6月、10月を収録。ほぼ時系列に並んでいる。CD2は71年4月のパリスシアターのライブ。この音源はブルーベリーヒルの名で海賊盤として流通しており当方もその昔お世話になった。演奏、音質共に良好でツェッペリンのダイナミックな演奏が楽しめる。BBCの音源はパープルやクイーンもリリースがあるが本作はずば抜けて音質が良い。ペイジが丁寧な仕事をしているという事だ。ＣＤ1は当時のバンドの溢れんばかりのエネルギーが爆発している。特に「コミィニケーション・ブレイクダウン」におけるプラントのボーカルはそれが顕著でコントロールが効かず暴走気味。ここは評価の分かれ目でこのダイナミックスさがツェッペリンの魅力と考えるファンも多いだろう。当時のロックが持つ衝動と衝突が垣間見れる。この時期でしか存在しない迫力が感じられる。それに比べディスク2は比較的落ち着いて聴ける。冒頭の2曲こそエンジン全開と言ったところだが、セットリストが進むにつれてコンサートらしいメリハリのついた内容になっている。曲数からして当日はもっと演奏されていたのではないか？ラジオ収録ということで時間的制約があったのかもしれない。いつの日か完全盤が・・・・。
