The series' first soundtrack features multiple performances by cast member and Winans Family member Deborah Joy Winans, who portrays the church's Minister of Music. Desiree Ross, who plays Sophia Greenleaf, leads the choir on "(We'll Understand It Better) By and By." Vol. 1 also offers guest vocals by gospel stars Shirley Caesar and the McCrary Sisters, as well as former American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle. ~ Marcy Donelson
