Across the album's eight tracks, this one time John Fahey acolyte even challenges his teacher by pushing the limits of what one set of human fingers can accomplish. Rose creates dense layers of arpeggio, melody, and drone with an arsenal that includes a 12-string guitar and his famous Weissenborn lap guitar. Essential.
