クラウド・ラップ～トリルウェイヴの旗手としてリル・Bやエイサップ・ロッキー、ヴィンス・ステイプルズとの絡みで名を馳せてきたニュージャージーの雄がようやく漕ぎ着けたオリジナル・アルバム。その3者を招きながら、期待通りの試合運びをする前半戦も素晴らしいが、白眉は歌モノに特化した後半だ。リアーナやジェシー・ウェア仕事でペンを取ってきたサム・デューの黄金律を至極ミニマルな構成で供する逸品から、ミッキー・エッコのエモーショナルな歌唱を後押しする簡素ながらも祝祭感溢れるスロウ・ファンク、そしてサム・ヘリングがトム・ウェイツの如く彷徨うドロドロに破綻したトラップなど、ゲストの立て方はホントに見事。歪なプロダクションとのコントラストではなくケレラの涼感をストレートに引き出す"A Breath Away"の出来も抜群で、終曲に神々しいドリップ感がこれぞな先行インスト"Blast"を据える流れも実に用意周到だ。デビューから5年分の名刺代わりとして申し分ないメジャー第1戦。
