Cabo Blanco｜CDアルバム

1940年代末のペルーの港町カボ・ブランコを舞台に海底に沈んだ財宝を巡っていろいろな人々が絡み合うＪ・リー・トンプソン監督のアクション映画。原題は地名だと思うが洒落たタイトルに置き換わっていて魅力的。チャールズ・ブロンソン、ドミニク・サンダらが出演。音楽担当は巨匠ジェリー・ゴールドスミス。異国情緒を感じさせるテーマ曲から滑り出し、南米ペルーが舞台なだけに巨匠ゴールドスミスの魔術にかかったかのように南米っぽく聴こえるサウンドがあり楽しい。巨匠独特の大迫力のサウンドも勿論楽しめる。巨匠ジェリー・ゴールドスミスの作品はまだまだ続く。
