The movie has generated as much controversy as it has accolades, and the soundtrack stands as a fair musical representation of all the reasons why: drugs (with their offered dichotomy of pleasure and pain), love of music itself and a certain pop-culture obsession. Trainspotting Vol.1｜CDアルバム

映画の内容もだがサントラも退廃的。
パンクやRockが持つ自虐的な雰囲気が作品と見事にLinkしている。
Iggy Popの『Lust For Life』やLou Reedの『Perfect Day』、Sleeperの『Atomic』が特に好きだが、現在の音楽をぶち壊し作り直したとも言えるUnderworldの『Born Slippy』はマスト!!
作品を見て、サントラを聴かなきゃアングラは語れない。

Trainspotting｜LPレコード

90年代イギリスをマックスで感じられる、名画中の名画のオリジナル・サウンド・トラック。とにかく音楽なしでは語れない映画です。誰もが知るアンセムを多数収録しているのに、全曲「トレインスポッティング」を彷彿させてしまう凄み。アナログ盤はずっと廃盤だったので嬉しいリイシューですね。
