ジョニー・キャッシュ、ウィリー・ネルソン、ワイロン・ジェニングス、クリス・クリストファーソンによって1985年に結成されたカントリーのスーパーグループ、"ザ・ハイウェイメン"。結成当時でも4人を合わせた総セールス枚数は1億7千万枚という、アメリカでは巨大な影響力を誇る4人が85-95年の期間集結し、アルバム3枚をリリース。音楽的にも文化的にも革新的なムーヴメントを起こした異なる個性の4人が集まり、若き絶頂期に残した功績は大きい。
数々のライヴをこなした彼等のキャリアの中でも、特筆すべきライヴ、1990年3月20日にニューヨークのナッソー・コロシアムで行われた大規模ライヴの模様を、今作フル映像にて初商品化!CDとライヴ・ビデオで収録され、当時50代の円熟味を増しながらも、体力気力の充実した4人の姿が蘇る。
ボーナスCDには1990年代のその他ライヴ音源10曲に加え、新録音源としてボブ・ディラン「One Too Many Mornings～いつもの朝に～」のカバーを収録。1986年リリース ジョニー・キャッシュとワイロン・ジェニングスのコラボアルバム『Heros』に収録された同曲に、ジョニー・キャッシュとクロス・クリストファーソンがボーカルを新たにレコーディングしたもの。
