レスピーギに師事した伊ペドロッティの
情熱あふれるローマ3部作!

当アルバムはローマのサンタ・チェチーリア音楽院にてレスピーギに作曲を学んだイタリアの指揮者、アントニオ・ペドロッティ(1901-1975)が、チェコ・フィルを振った3枚組です。ペドロッティは1929年トレント・フィルハーモニーの指揮者に就任し、1932年トレントのリチェオ・ムジカーレ教授に任命された逸材。以後サンタ・チェチーリア音楽院管弦楽団の副音楽監督も兼任し活躍しました。戦後はチェコ・フィルを指揮し、「プラハの春」音楽祭にも度々出演しました。スプラフォンからの当録音集ではペドロッティの情熱あふれる演奏を聴くことができます。ことにレスピーギのローマ3部作では師から学んだ直伝の音楽を表現しており、一聴の価値ありの熱演を披露しております。
