Mac Miller figures into the great "Coming Back", but the bits about Domo's family, his autistic brother, and his own search for self make this a meatier album than expected. メロウ・ハイとしての活動でも知られるオッド・フューチャーの中核メンバー、ドモ・ジェネシスのソロ・デビュー作。注目を集めているLAのシンガー、アンダーソン・パークをフィーチャーしたソウルフルでディスコティークなサウンドの先行曲"Dapper"も話題となったが(MVも素晴らしい!)、アルバムも全体的に同曲のソウルフルな路線を踏襲しつつ、いかにもLA産っぽいユルめな雰囲気とメロウなムードを漂わせた内容に仕上がっており、レイドバックした1曲目"Ankward Groove"から実に心地良い。元インターネットのテイ・ウォーカーが参加した"Wanderer"やJMSNを迎えての"My Own"といったシンガー勢とコラボした楽曲群は軒並み絶品だし、"Coming Back"に客演したマック・ミラーも歌うようなラップを聴かせてくれている。ウィズ・カリファ、ジューシーJ、タイラー・ザ・クリエイターと豪華にマイクをリレーする"Go(Gas)"なんて曲もあり。

タイラーザクリエイターやジ・インターネットなど所属するオッドフューチャーのメンバーであるドモ・ジェネシスの唯一の盤。現代のジャズシーンの中に潜んでいる“静”の部分とうまく融合したようなお洒落でクールな作品。ゲストが豪華で一曲あたりの完成度も高い。現在、彼の作品はこのCDしか手に入らないので気になる方はマストで手に入れるべき！
