2005年のデビュー以来、コールドプレイのオープニング・アクトや映画「スパイダーマン3」ヘの楽曲提供で知名度を上げてきたカナダのバンドによる4枚目のアルバム。カンやブラック・サバス、ピンク・フロイドなど70年代のロックに影響を受けたという、へヴィーなサイケデリック・ギターを軸とした大らかな演奏に、ダルダルの男女ヴォーカルを絡め、ゾクゾクするような美しさを生んでいる。一皮剥けたな。
