Alternative Press (p.174) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he aptly titled Andrew Jackson Jihad top their dysfunctional folk-punk with some interesting production choices, occasional insight and a singer born to deliver uncomfortable truths..."

On its ridiculously titled 2007 debut for Asian Man Records, the quirky Phoenix, Arizona-based punk-folk group Andrew Jackson Jihad doles out plenty of acoustic absurdity. Consisting of Sean Bonnette (vocals, guitar), Ben Gallaty (bass), and a rotating cast of backing musicians, the ensembles Violent Femmes-on-speed aesthetic is exemplified by the fast, furious "Randys House."
