The Pop Years: The 50s｜CDアルバム
御社のインフォ・メールにてこの作品を知った時は思わずビックリした。この曲目数でこの価格とはちょっと信じられなかったがゲットすることにした。商品紹介蘭の宣伝文がうまい。「１９５０年代のクラシックナンバーを各年ごとに収録した１０枚組お買い得ボックス！」とはわかりやすい文言ですね。ポール・アンカ、ニール・セダカ、パット・ブーン、ペギー・リー等々懐かしのメンバー揃い踏み。収録曲全てを聴くのは大変であり、申し訳ないが当面は「つまみ食い」的に聴いていき、いつかは全曲につながるようにしたい。今では死語と化したかもしれないが「ながら族」向きのアルバムと言えるかもしれない。
