A very nice album of warm jazz-styled arrangements from or used in various motion pictures. The films range from Body Heat to 'Round Midnight, and the choices are all oriented toward moderate-tempo material that can be brought up close. As such, it's very successful, providing a big, sexy sound that never gets out of hand -- the album makes a good late-night soundtrack, as well as a perfect accompaniment for seduction. ~ Steven McDonald
