2005年にリリースされオーストラリアのバンドであるという壁を軽く飛び越え、シングルの「Woman」は2007年のグラミー賞Best Hard Rock Performanceを受賞、「Love Train」はiPodのCMに使われロック以外のフィールドでも評価され、新世代のLed Zeppelin, Black SabbathやBlue Cheerと称されたWolfmother。彼らのデビュー・アルバム『Wolfmother』の10周年を記念してデラックス・アルバムが発売!この盤が初登場となるデモ、ライブ、リミックス、B-sideなどが12曲も収録。

ロック本来の姿がここにある!　へヴィーでグルーヴィーでサイケデリックな極上のロックを掻き鳴らす3人組、ウルフマザーがオーストラリアから登場だ。ギミック一切なしのサウンドで、ロックがもっとも燃え上がっていた70年代の熱気を現代に蘇らせる。その姿はまるでレッド・ツェッペリンの如し!　凝った音作りが主流の現行シーンにおいて、人力真っ向勝負で押し切る今作は、10年に1度出るか出ないかの大傑作。
