A collaboration between Bill Laswell, Scorn's Mick Harris and the Italian Eraldo Bernocchi, Equations of Eternity is a much more exciting prospect than much of Laswell's earlier material on Axiom Records. The combination of slowly progressing bass and abrasive drum programming -- each done with ponderous care -- puts the album over the top, and though it's difficult to pinpoint each member's contributions, it hardly matters on an album this enjoyable. ~ John Bush
