1984年にリリースされたザ・フォールの7thスタジオ・アルバム『ザ・ワンダフル・アンド・フライトニング・ワールド・オブ・ザ・フォール』がアナログ盤でリイシュー!本作はアナログ・テープ・マスターからHDファイルへと変換された音源を使用。ベガーズ・バンケット移籍第1作目であり、ザ・ストーン・ローゼズやレディオヘッドを手がけたジョン・レッキーが担当。ピッチフォークに「ザ・フォールのキャリアのハイライト」と評された名盤。
