Pieced together from outtakes and much-labored-over songs, Sticky Fingers has a loose, ramshackle ambience that belies both its origins and the dark undercurrents of the songs. Apart from the classic opener, "Brown Sugar," the long workout "Can't You Hear Me Knocking," and the mean-spirited "Bitch," Sticky Fingers is a slow, bluesy affair, with a few country touches thrown in for good measure. The laid-back tone of the album gives ample room for new lead guitarist Mick Taylor to stretch out, but the key to the album isn't the instrumental interplay -- it's the soulfulness of the songs. With its offhand mixture of decadence, roots music, and outright malevolence, Sticky Fingers set the tone for the rest of the decade for the Stones. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine|

Sticky Fingers (Half Speed Master)＜限定盤＞｜LPレコード
Half speed master の音質に期待して購入したけど、正直効果は疑問です。オリジナルの国内盤と輸入盤を持っているけど、ほとんど違いが解らない。多少クリアな音になっているようだが、ストーンズはもこもこと籠った音の塊じゃ無いと、あの独特のグルーヴ感が半減してしまう気がする。それから決定的にがっかりだったのが、アルバムジャケットが只のプリントだったこと。ちゃんとファスナー付けてよ！

何度目のスティッキーフィンガー購入でしょうか？　新興宗教のお布施のようにストーンズ関連を購入する自分に悲しく思う時があります。ジャケットのジッパーが金具と思い購入しましたが写真だったので評価を低くしました。

71年名盤。自主レーベルを発足して第一弾。１曲目から「brown sugar」でブッ飛ばされます。随所で聞けるミックテイラーのブルースギターが何と言っても聞きどころ。アンディ・ウォーホールのアートワークも最高。
