66年リリースのセカンド・アルバム。66年5月31日、ロンドンのクラブ、クルックス・クリークにおけるライヴをモノラル・ヴァージョンにて収録。ブライアン・オーガーのMCでステージに登場としたバンドが繰り広げる熱き演奏はまさに圧巻。ディスク2には、同作品のステレオ・ヴァージョンを収録。英国盤LPと、同内容でタイトル違いの米国盤LP『ライヴ・アット・クルックス・クリーク』を元にした紙ジャケット2種を同梱。英文ブックレット封入。2015年24ビット・リマスタリング。

これぞオルガン・モッド・サウンド‼66年録音。ロンドンのR&Bシーンが最高潮に盛り上げた名ライブ盤。圧巻のジェイムス・ブラウン・メドレー他、熱気の中に都会的な洗練されたジャジーなインストやR&Bダンス曲まで黒人音楽の名曲カヴァーを披露。最高にグルーヴィー＆ファンキーなオルガン(時にジャジーでクール)が素敵!
