★カナダはハリファックス/モントリオールを拠点に活動する男女デュオ、ピュリティ・リングが＜4AD＞から待望の2ndアルバムをリリース!

Pitchforkにて8.4点/ベスト・ニュー・ミュージックを獲得した2012年リリースの『Shrines』以来、約3年振りとなるニュー・アルバムが登場!今作は2人が同じ部屋で作った初めての作品で、出身地であるバーモントンで制作された。ヴォーカルのミーガンをより前面にフィーチャーしており、コリンはプロデューサー的な立ち位置となっていて、前作の閉鎖的な空気感から一転してオープンな雰囲気が表現されている。今作もセルフ・プロデュースをしており、サウンド面でもダブステップ色の強かったデビュー作から一変、美しいエレクトロニック・サウンドを取り入れたポップ・アルバムが完成した。前作リリースの際にはR&Bやヒップホップを愛する彼等のサウンドに魅了されたレディー・ガガがリミックスを依頼し、「アプローズ」のオフィシャル・リミックスを担当したことでも話題となった。またエレクトロニック・アーティストにして、コールドプレイのプロデュースを手掛けるジョン・ホプキンスや人気ラッパーのダニー・ブラウンとのコラボレーションを行うなど、アーティストからも多くの支持を得ている。
