On this two-disc set, the Sony-affiliated Funky Town Grooves label identifies another previously neglected portion of the Manhattans' discography. This release combines the group's third and fourth albums: With These Hands (1971) and A Million to One (1972). Between the two full-lengths, which were among their best work, there were four charting singles, including the Top Five R&B hit "One Life to Live." Disc one adds non-album A-sides and B-sides, including 1970's "From Atlanta to Goodbye" and 1973's "Rainbow Week." This nicely complements FTG's individual 2014 reissues of There's No Good in Goodbye (1978) and After Midnight (1980). ~ Andy Kellman
