In the late '80s, this was El Gran Combo's attempt to cash in on the romantic craze that was the newest flavor for salsa, but they manage to maintain their well-known band style. Regardless of its sameness, this record is as perfectly suitable as anything that they have their hands in. "Carta al Creador" is a particularly amusing tune about human dissatisfaction.
