Lo-fi without being brittle and minimal without feeling sparse, the album puts the band's earnest songwriting front and center, allowing their relatability to shine through without overcooking the production to bulk up their sound. While the album is a subdued one, it makes for a great listen to go with a plaintive, midwestern fall, making it a solid return from one of Ohio's unsung duos. ~ Gregory Heaney
