2013年にリリースされた自叙伝的な作品、"The Last Ship"の発売記念として2013年12月にニューヨークで行われたスペシャル・ライヴを収録した映像商品が登場!
■本作: 2013年9月にリリースされた11作目のスタジオ・アルバム(オリジナル楽曲を収録した作品としては2003年の'Sacred Love'以来初)の"The Last Ship"発売記念ライヴを収録した映像作品。アルバム"The Last Ship"未収録曲4曲収録。
■"Last Ship": イングランド、ニューカッスル生まれのスティングがウォールセンドのスワン・ハンターズ造船所の影で育った思い出に基づき、帰郷と自己発見を中心的テーマとして据えて描いた作品であり、ミュージカル化を前提として書き下ろした作品!
■撮影場所: ニューヨークのパブリック・シアター。観客との距離が近いステージ設定の会場で、音楽とストーリーとが奏でられる様子をとらえている。
