商品の紹介

This three-disc set, released in 2014 on compact disc only, simply compiles three albums Richard H. Kirk originally issued in 2011 as digital downloads through his Intone label. There are no bonus tracks -- just the original albums, straight up, ideal for listeners who want to own physical copies of the founding Cabaret Voltaire member's output. (Presumably, all of this was made by Kirk alone.) First, there's Reality Is Opposite, credited to Kirk himself -- slow, warped, viscous electronics with occasional breakbeats. The second disc consists of Orchestra Terrestrial's Umladen -- an ambient set highlighted by the foreboding "Observatorium." Finally, there's Anonymized, from Richard H. Kirk & the Arpeggio 13, "built with heavy use of arpeggios" and minimalist. It's a relatively light listen, despite titles like "Commanders on the Ground" and "Targeted Arrests." All three albums, as one might be able to discern from similarly evocative track titles, were inspired by unrest. ~ Andy Kellman
