Twenty five years on and Banda Los Recoditos are still young at heart, but some fans may think of their 2014 album as "juvenile." If the title doesn't give it away, Sueno XXX is partly a provocative porno dream, and one that runs the gamut from "couples" porno to "boys will be boys"-styled porno. The latter is represented by "Hasta Que Salga el Sol" and its accompanying video -- which parodied the hedonistic comedy film The Hangover -- while the former is represented by the title cut, a more subdued and sensual ode to carnal pleasures. Rancheros, cumbias, and canciones de amor fill the track list, but bring an ID and leave the wee ones at home because this Banda has gone "blue," at least for the moment. ~ David Jeffries
