DISC1: Axe Victim
グラム・ロックの影響を色濃く感じさせながらも、プロフレッシヴな一面ものぞかせるBE BOP DELUXEのデビュー・アルバム。(1974年作品)
DISC 2: Futurama
バンド・メンバーを一新してトリオ編成となり、クイーンとの仕事で知られるロイ・トーマス・ベイカーをプロデューサーに迎えて制作されたセカンド・アルバム。よりプログレッシヴさとビル・ネルソンのギター・プレイが前面に出た本作には隠れたポップ/ロック・ヒット「Maid In Heaven」が収録れている。(1975年作品)
DISC 3: Sunburst Finish
キーボードにAndy Clarkが加わり4人編成となって制作されたサード・アルバム。全英TOP40入りを果たしたシングル「Ships In The Night」収録。アルバムも全英17位を記録した。(1976年作品)
DISC 4: Modern Music
全英12位を記録したBE BOP DELUXEの最高傑作との声も高い4作目。「Orphans of Babylon」や「Kiss of Light」などの楽曲をはじめとするSF風の幻想的な歌詞に、ポップで美しいメロディーが印象的な1枚。(1976年作品)
DISC 5: Drastic Plastic
前作までの音楽性から一転、シンセサイザーや電子音楽などのニューウェイヴ的要素が全面に押し出されたBE BOP DELUXE、最後のスタジオ・アルバム。(1978年作品)
