AMADEUS features pre-recorded performances by artists including The Academy Of St. Martin In The Fields conducted by Sir Neville Marriner, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Mitsuko Uchida, none of whom actually appear in the 1999 Broadway production of the play. The tracks are selections taken from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "The Marriage Of Figaro," "Don Giovanni," "Cosi Fan Tutte," "Symphony No. 25," "Serenade in B Flat," "Requiem," and the "Piano Concertos Nos. 10 & 25." The original cast recording for Amadeus features the vocal talents of soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, pianist Mitsuko Uchida, and conductor Sir Neville Mariner. The album contains music from Cosi Fan Tutti, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Symphony No. 25, and Piano Concerto Nos. 10 and 25.
