初CD化!メジャー・ハリスの1978年RCA原盤の名盤がいよいよリイシューされます!スウィート・シンガーとしてデルフォニックス、ソロのアトランティック盤など多くの名盤をリリースしておりますが、その独特の甘い声質はこのような70年代後半、やや都会的なニュアンスやモダン・ソウル的な色合いを増したサウンドが本当に良く似合います。ちょっとジャジーなスロウ、モダンなテイストを目一杯かましたメロウ・ミディアム、そしてもちろんフィリー・ダンサー的なアップなどなど。ディスコ全盛の時代にこれだけ良心的なソウル作品がリリースされていたのは、奇跡に近いかもしれません。祝初リイシュー!
