レビュー

早くも届いたセカンド・アルバム。日本デビューから半年も経っていないが、その跳躍ぶりには驚くばかりだ。進化のスピードが凄すぎて恐ろしくなるほど。作り的にはほとんどR&B。レゲエのフレイヴァーを混ぜつつ、デスティニーズ・チャイルド“Survivor”を想起させるくらい〈タフな私たち〉をアピールしてくる“Salute”で始まり、変則ビート曲もラクラク乗りこなしながら、奔放かつ快活に身体全体で歌う躍動っぷりがカッコ良すぎる。何しろ4人とも歌唱力があるから、軽く流れていかずに1曲1曲がズシンとくるのだ。他にもデスチャ的な攻めのアップが目立つが、だからこそここぞという場所でのバラードがまた美しくて、沁みる。今回も全員がソングライティングに参加。少しの緩みもない大力作ね。
