This long-anticipated ninth studio album from the Californian horror punks is their follow-up to 2009's Crash Love. Recorded with legendary producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World), it sees the band going back to basics somewhat after the pop sheen of the last album. Three singles are included -- the glowering, bombastic "I Hope You Suffer," the electronic-heavy "The Conductor," and the thrilling, melodic pop-punk anthem "17 Crimes."
