Playlist: The Very Best of Basia compiles all of the hit singles the Polish jazz/pop/Latin diva recorded from the '80s through to the '90s. The collection primarily culls from her 1987 solo debut, Time and Tide, her 1990 sophomore album London Warsaw New York, and her 1994 follow-up, Sweetest Illusion. Selections from these albums include such tracks as "Prime Time," "Time and Tide," "Promises," "Brave New Hope," "Drunk on Love," and others. Also included is Basia's early career collaboration with sometime-partner Matt Bianco, 1994's "Half a Minute," as well as the single "Angels Blush," off another 1998 compilation album, Clear Horizon: The Best of Basia.
