Ugandan singer Samite definitely favors tranquility on his very haunting and hypnotic Dance My Children Dance. In addition to providing all of the album's vocals, Samite plays most of its instruments -- including the kalimba (which American ears have often been exposed to courtesy of Earth, Wind & Fire), the marimba, the litungu, African flutes and various African percussion.
