Also includes a 32 page booklet with extensive liner notes and exclusive photos. This two-disc set commemorates 25 years of The Residents as a recording (and occasionally performing) ensemble. Presented in more-or-less chronologically backwards order, the selections touch on every major project the band has done. This is a perfect introduction for anyone uncertain where to begin in this band's enormous catalog. And for those who are already fans, there are rarities and obscurities, as well as a detailed commentary and a well-written history, which provides context and background on the artistic development of The Residents.
