Road to the Riches, Wanted: Dead or Alive, and Live and Let Die -- Kool G Rap & DJ Polo's first three albums for the Cold Chillin' label -- are must-owns for series fans of late-'80s and early-'90s hardcore rap. Released in 2013 by Cold Chillin' through Traffic, following deluxe editions of said albums, Street Stories: The Best of G Rap & Polo provides a solid summary of those releases while including a handful of non-album A-sides and B-sides. It's hard to argue against the track selection here -- there's "Streets of New York," "Bad to the Bone," "Road to the Riches," "It's a Demo," "Rikers Island," and so forth -- but the duo excelled in the album format. ~ Andy Kellman
