評判だった前作の出来を大きく上回る、2年ぶり4枚目のアルバム。作品ごとに凄みを増し、成熟していくその速度は驚異的だ。イーサン・ジョーンズとスタジオに入り、何と全編一発録りで完成させた大傑作。彼女のギターと歌だけでも凄まじい迫力だが、パーカッションは獣のように暴れ、チェロは内面の暗部を旋律に変え、その一体となったものが緊張感を伴って迫ってくる。どこまで行くの、この人。
