Brooklyn-based metal group Life of Agony went through many different phases in their early days, ranging from hardcore and heavy metal beginnings to endless lineup changes and even embracing a more alternative pop-friendly sound for a time. The Complete Roadrunner Collection 1993-2000 gathers together material from more than five of the band's early albums, including the 1993 thrash debut River Runs Red as well as the more trend-hopping later albums Ugly and Soul Searching Sun.
